Sweet Jeans is a DIY music events company based in Plymouth working predominantly within indie, psych and garage-rock. Formed in 2025, with a mission to enrich the local music scene and to put Plymouth firmly back on the touring map of the UK.

In our first year, we put on five shows across the city, bringing new and exciting bands like Oral Habit, The Heavenly Bodes and The Stanford Family Band to Plymouth for the very first time.

Director and founder Leo Cunningham was awarded Arts Council England funding via PRS Foundation’s Early Career Promoter Fund in late 2026, one of fourteen successful applicants in England.

Our Pledge

Sweet Jeans is committed to paying artists, technicians and venues fairly. Treating everybody we collaborate with with the utmost respect and compassion, as well as providing a safe, inclusive and encouraging platform for women, non-binary, LGTBQ and minority artists.

We are committed to offering reduced ticket prices for those on low-wages, and removing financial barriers to those who need it most.

Finally, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all attendees, artists and venue staff.
